It’s fun to have holidays, you can do whatever you like, you don’t have to get up too early, do your homework or think of troubles which occur very often at school. I like summer holidays because they are the longest ones. I’d like to tell you about my last summer holidays. I spent them in the Crimea.
“We stayed in Yalta for about a month and then I went to the country to visit my relatives there. At the seaside I enjoyed fresh sea air lying in the sun, swimming ia the sea, playing volleyball on the beach with my new friends. The weather was fine all the time. In the evenings we went for a walk or dropped in at a cafe to have ice cream or juice. The sea was nice and warm. When it was time to go home, we were sorry to leave the marvellous town of Yalta. I stayed at my granny’s in the country when I came from Yalta. 1 must say that I had an active rest because I helped my granny in the vegetable garden weeding it or gathering tomatoes, cucumbers and
When the summer was over, I felt sorry because it was too short and was too quick to pass.

Last summer I went To the village to spend my holidays at my grandmother’s. I had a very good time there, I confess, because I had an active rest. I got up early in the morning and worked in the vegetable garden. I helped my granny to water the vegetables and to weed the vegetable-beds. I gathered tomatoes, cucumbers, radish, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, onions and other vegetables. 1 also took care of the animals: hens, ducks, pigs and saeep. It was very interesting to watch them eating when I fed them. The days in the country passed very quickly. I had a lot of things to do every day. Sometimes I went to the forest which is not far from the village to pick up berries, mushrooms and forest flowers. In the evening E watched TV and read books, newspapers and magazines. I spoke to my granny aoout the plans for the following day, and we had a rest watching interesting films and reading.
